There are 4 red cards. Depends on the job you are training for. Check the CSCS card finder.

Apprentice
For people on a recognised apprenticeship. CSCS issues it free.
Trainee
For people registered for a qualification they need for their job.
Experienced Worker
For workers with on-the-job experience who are working towards a qualification.
Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager
For supervisors, managers and technical staff with experience but no qualification yet.
Which test you need
Depends on the job you are training for. Check the CSCS card finder. The pass must be from the last 2 years when you apply.
How long it lasts
- Red cards are for people still training or gaining experience. Check the CSCS website for how long yours lasts and how to move up to a full card.
Other colours
We are not CSCS and can't issue cards. Check the full rules on the CSCS website before you apply.
