Failed? How retakes work

You can sit the test again after 48 hours. Each attempt costs £23.50.

Facts checked 25 October 2026

The rules

Before you rebook

  1. Take a timed mock to find the topics that cost you marks.
  2. Practice those topics until you get them right without thinking.
  3. Take more timed mocks until you score 45 or more several times in a row.
  4. Then book. Rushing back after 48 hours without revising usually means paying £23.50 twice.
