Answer: C

  • A. Wrong: Wrong. They could copy bad habits or miss a hazard. They need to understand the rules before starting.
  • B. Wrong: Wrong. Site rules apply to everyone on site, whatever job they are doing.
  • C. Right: Right. HSE says site rules should be clear and understandable to everyone, and translations may be needed for workers who don't speak English.
  • D. Wrong: Wrong. Nodding does not prove someone understood. Check, and get the rules explained in a way they follow.

Explanation

Site rules must be understood by everyone who has to follow them. Tell your supervisor if a workmate may not have understood the induction.
